Coming off the lowest-scoring playoff game of his career in Saturday night's 96-85 loss to the Nets, a carefree LeBron James hardly seemed concerned and vowed "to be better" in Game 4 tonight.
"I'm very confident," James said. "We're looking to take a 3-1 lead and go back home. We're still up 2 games to 1. They're still chasing us."
Indeed, the Nets' task is not finished. Lose tonight and they head back to Cleveland (where they're 0-4 this season) in a 3-1 ditch.
The Nets held James to 18 points on 5-of-16 shooting Saturday. It was the first time in 20 career playoff games James did not score 20.
And he notched just four points in the fourth quarter (one in the final seven minutes) when the Nets blew open the game.
"I think I took a couple of questionable shots," said James, 1 of 5 on 3-pointers. "But I never second-guess myself. I learn from what happened and move on."
