The super six on the Celtics? list of draft possibilities at No. 5 has morphed into an elite eight. Joakim Noah and Julian Wright are now in the mix, though it might be fair to say they?re at the far end of a group that also includes Al Horford, Brandan Wright, Jeff Green, Corey Brewer, Yi Jianlian and Al Thornton.

Though the C?s clearly want to check out everyone who might go in their vicinity, one of the main reasons they?re expanding their view is the very real possibility they could move down from the fifth pick.

With that in mind, Danny Ainge was in Philadelphia Wednesday to see Washington big man Spencer Hawes go through his paces. The Celts piggy-backed onto the 76ers? planned session with Hawes, who requested they be allowed to do so because he?s retaining his option to go back to school and thus must pay for his own travel.
