Aaron Bruce, an Australian guard who played at Baylor University last season, has withdrawn his name from next week's National Basketball Association (NBA) draft.
Bruce, who will return to the Big 12 Conference school for his senior season, had not signed with an agent, leaving him the option of using his final season of college eligibility after assessing his value in the NBA marketplace.
Bruce took part in workouts by the NBA's three Texas teams, the Houston Rockets, regular-season leader Dallas Mavericks and playoff champion San Antonio Spurs.
"I've enjoyed these last few months because it has given me a chance to understand the whole process better," Bruce said.
"I've ventured into the process and now I have a chance to return to Baylor and turn things around."
