The sexual harassment case against New York Knicks coach and general manager Isiah Thomas is expected to go to trial in September.

U.S. District Court Judge Gerald Lynch raised the possibility of a settlement Tuesday at a Manhattan hearing to determine if there was sufficient evidence to proceed. Attorneys for Thomas are seeking dismissal of the lawsuit.

"We do expect there will be a trial in September as scheduled unless the parties are able to resolve their differences," Lynch said.
