Asked the "why Boston?" question a day before his Celtics play his former Minnesota Timberwolves Tuesday in an exhibition at The O2 Arena, Kevin Garnett didn't mind answering.

"Ray Allen being traded on draft night," Garnett said.

Allen's arrival in Boston combined him with Paul Pierce and meant the addition of Garnett would forge a spectacular trio.

The 31-year-old Garnett said, "It's a pleasure to know that I'm not just the primary. You have three primaries on this team. The ball has to move."
