Tony Allen had laser vision correction surgery over the offseason, which drastically improved his eyesight but unfortunately does not protect against the razors that are apparently Brandon Wallace's elbows.

"He's got some sharp tools," Allen said of Wallace before sitting out Wednesday night's 101-61 dismantling of the New York Knicks. Allen said he was defending Wallace on a pick and roll play, but got too close and took the shot to the face. "I should have guarded my grill."

Dressed in street clothes but in good spirits, Allen, officially out with a scratched cornea, told reporters his vision was blurry, and his right eye was partially shut, visibly sore and still pretty sensitive. Given the "how many fingers am I holding up" test, Allen passed, laughing, "you've got four."
