Washington Wizards' guard Gilbert Arenas had his surgically repaired left knee drained for the second time in three weeks Wednesday and missed a third consecutive practice.

Still, Wizards' coach Eddie Jordan said he expects Arenas to play against the New Jersey Nets on Thursday night.

Arenas said his knee felt stiff after Washington's last game, a loss to the Orlando Magic on Saturday that dropped the Wizards to 0-3. He hasn't practiced since.
