The Chicago Tribune and Daily Herald reported that Bulls' forwards Joakim Noah and Ben Wallace had to be separated by Luol Deng in the locker room in Orlando.

"I know all about it," Interim Coach Jim Boylan said. "There was no argument. I don't know why it was reported that way. A couple of things were said but there was no confrontation; there was no going after each other; there [were] no angry words. I spoke to both guys together this morning and they laughed about it, they can't believe it was reported like that. I find it disappointing that it's put in the paper without being really substantiated in any way."

Noah has been enmeshed in controversy for nearly a week. He initially was suspended one game after a verbal confrontation with Bulls assistant coach Ron Adams. Bulls players then voted to extend Noah's suspension by a game and Boylan approved the punishment.

Noah returned to action Tuesday in Orlando and scored 12 points and had 11 rebounds off the bench.

"I'm 100 percent sure I didn't break up anything," Deng said before Wednesday's game. "We were surprised, I heard about it this morning. There was no fight. There was nothing to be broken up."
