After declaring for the NBA Draft last month, could former Ohio State big man Kosta Koufos turn his back on any team who drafts him and play in Greece?

According to the FIBA Europe website, Koufos, who could be a lottery pick, may take the path of former Orlando lottery pick Fran Vazquez and play in Europe instead, where he would make more money.

Koufos is planning on representing Greece in the upcoming Beijing Games, and while he has not yet signed with an agent, he has informed Ohio State that he will soon, meaning he cannot go back to school.

"I felt like this was the route I needed to take in my career," Koufos said to the Canton Repository.

"I've heard a lot of positive stuff. As of now, I'm just working hard and trying my best to reach my goal."
