Kobe Bryant sat out the Lakers practice on Tuesday in order to rest his sore back heading into Game Five against the Jazz on Wednesday night, according to The Associated Press.

"Quite a bit [of pain], but it's a lot better than it was yesterday," Bryant said of his back. "It'll be fine."

He tweaked his back during the opening moments of the Lakers Game Four loss to the Jazz in Utah on Sunday afternoon.

Bryant claims that he'll definitely play at home in Game Five.

"I think the key is to know what you can and can't do," he said. "I kind of know what I can and can't do. I hope I can do what's necessary to help us win."
