John Paxson has been busy interviewing potential candidates for the Bulls' vacant coaching position, with former Jazz guard Jeff Hornacek set to meet with Paxson today, the Chicago Sun-Times are reporting.

Former Timberwolves' Coach Dwayne Casey was in Chicago on Thursday to discuss the position with Paxson while Tyrone Corbin met with Chicago on Wednesday.

Former Spurs' Coach John Lucas told a Houston radio station that he has spoken with Paxson and will interview soon, as will former Indiana Pacer Chuck Person.

A source confirmed that Paxson traveled to Los Angeles earlier in the week and met with Lakers' assistants Brian Shaw and Kurt Rambis.

The Bulls and Suns are expected to ask for permission to talk to Boston Celtics' assistant Tom Thibodeau. The Celtics don't want teams talking with Thibodeau during their playoff run.
