The Spurs think they know why the Lakers were able to comeback from a twenty-point deficit on Wednesday night; San Antonio simply slowed down at the end of Game One, according to The Los Angeles Times.

"We were too slow down the stretch," Manu Ginobili said.

"We did things great for a good part of the game and then kind of stopped and [watched] them play better and better. That's the part that hurts. We would all love to have that opportunity again -- to be up 20 with 15 minutes to go."

The Spurs did not practice on Thursday, instead using the time off to rest. They ended their semifinal series against the Hornets just two nights before beginning the Western Conference Finals against the Lakers.

"We have to forget it," Tony Parker said. "If not, there's nothing that's going to help us for Game 2."
