Gilbert Arenas is waiting until the June 30 deadline to opt out of his contract with the Wizards and claims that he'll be one-hundred percent by the start of the 2008-09 season, according to The Washington Post.

"I'll be full speed by October," said Arenas. "I'm not going to do anything stupid this summer. I'm going to take my time and prepare for next season. I'm going to be smart about it this year. I'm going to have five or six months to get this thing strong again and ready to go again."

The all-star guard was limited to just 13 regular season games this year after having a second surgery on his troublesome left knee in November.
