The Bulls' three coaching candidates should know who the team's new coach will be by Monday, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune is reporting.

While Vinny Del-Negro appears to be the favorite, Dwane Casey and Chuck Person are also options, with Casey the only one of the three with previous head coaching experience.

Casey was Kevin Garnett's coach in Minnesota, and Garnett told reporters in Boston that he respected Casey's work ethic.

"His preparation, how he prepared for games, and how he had us ready was always consistent," Garnett said. "I always looked at him like a real motivating coach. I just thought at times he never really enjoyed it like I thought he should."

"But for the most part, man, you want a coach that's going to be able to motivate guys but at the same time have a work ethic and actually know what he's doing. So it doesn't surprise me that his name is out there."
