The Mavericks have re-signed Jose Juan Barea to an undisclosed deal, according to Inside Hoops.

"J.J. has worked extremely hard and has developed into a fine young NBA point guard," said President of Basketball Operations/General Manager Donnie Nelson. "We are pleased to reward his efforts and look forward to his bright future in a Mavs' uniform."

Last season, Barea played in 44 games, starting nine times for Dallas and averaging career-highs in points (4.3), assists (1.3), rebounds (1.1), and minutes (10.5).
