Sixers' General Manager Ed Stefanski has begun serious negotiations with restricted free agent Andre Iguodala in an effort to re-sign him, according to The Philadelphia Daily News.

Stefanski met with Iguodala's agent Rob Pelinka on Tuesday but wouldn't reveal whether or not an offer was tendered to the forward.

"This was a first meeting," Stefanski said, declining to offer any other details.

Stefanski has said repeatedly that his intention is to re-sign Iguodala and restricted free-agent guard Lou Williams this summer.
