The Orlando Magic are close to signing their third point guard next season.

General Manager Otis Smith said a third point guard will be signed by the start of training camp on September 29.

Free Agent journeymen Eddie Gill and Mike Wilks appear to be the top candidates for the third point guard spot behind starter Jameer Nelson and free agent acquisition Anthony Johnson.

It is also likely the Magic will bring in another swingman and a big body into camp.

"We'll bring in a few players. We're close on a couple of guys," Smith said.
