Jazz guard Deron Williams loves to play basketball, but he despises playing anything other than the point.

He played two-guard on occasion during his rookie year and at times this summer while playing for Team USA, but prefers to avoid the position.

"I hate playing the two," Williams said on Saturday. "I don't like playing the two. I'm a one. I like to have the ball in my hands."

He played shooting guard at times during a scrimmage on Saturday while Gerry McNamara ran the point.

"We have enough two guards on this team. I don't need to play the two," Williams added.
