Cavaliers' rookie J.J. Hickson didn't play until the fourth quarter of Friday's exhibition game against the Wizards because he missed the team's bus for the morning shootaround.
Hickson, who got to Value City Arena late, will likely also be fined by the team.
"He was going to sit there and if it was a closer game, he would've sat the whole game," Cavs coach Mike Brown said. "I usually don't do that . . . he's a rookie and he has to learn from his mistakes."
His teammates took a different route, reportedly heckling him throughout the day.
