The championship parade that was held in Philadelphia for the World Champion Phillies on Friday brought back memories for 76ers' coach Maurice Cheeks.

Cheeks was the point guard on the 1983 NBA champion Sixers, the last team to have a parade in Philly.

"It was pretty amazing," Cheeks said. "It looked like they had double [the attendance of] ours. They're Philly fans. They come out. They like to see their team win. When you win, there's nothing like that."

"When you're the last team standing in your sport, like the Phillies were, and you're not clearing out your locker, it's so special in whatever sport you're playing," Cheeks added. "It's such an amazing time."
