The Celtics tied an NBA record for the best start to a season with their relatively easy win over the Knicks on Sunday night.

Boston is 26-2, a record that the 76ers equaled in 1966-67 and the Knicks matched in 1969-70.

The Celtics, fittingly, can set a new mark on Tuesday night against Philadelphia.

"We know we still have room to improve, so we're trying to do that," said Kevin Garnett. "We know we haven't played the perfect game yet."
