For Christmas all Jordan Farmar wants is a healthy left knee, and when he undergoes surgery on Wednesday, that is what the Lakers are hoping for too.
According to the L.A. Times, Farmar is scheduled to have surgery today in Los Angeles to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee. He is expected to miss around eight weeks.
"Reasonably in my mind's eyes, I'm saying, the All-Star game is somewhere around six weeks," Coach Phil Jackson said about the Feb. 15 game, which is actually 7 1/2 weeks away.
"There's a break in there. Hopefully, that would be great for him to be back around that time."
