Celtics executive Danny Ainge commented on the Sunday car accident involving reserve Glen Davis, claiming that "he's fine".
He was involved in a three-car crash, and will miss his second straight game on Tuesday night against Philadelphia.
Davis is suffering from a strained neck and a concussion, and his status for Thursday's Christmas Day battle with the Lakers isn't yet known.
"I think he's fine," said Ainge, who visited Davis in the hospital Sunday. "I have no idea how long this will take, but I'm guessing that it's short. He was in good spirits."
