Danilo Gallinari was active and ready to play for the first time in 2008-09 on Friday evening when the Knicks played Washington.

"They came to me, the training people, and said that he feels good, and is ready to go, and wants to go, and they don't see any reason not to go," said Mike D'Antoni.  "So it's a go."
