Ray Allen hyperextended his right thumb during the first half of Boston's 89-77 victory over the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday night.

The Boston Globe reported that X-rays were negative.

Allen, recently selected as a reserve for the Eastern Conference All-Star team, is Boston's second-leading scorer, averaging 18.2 points.
