Spurs guard Manu Ginobili will miss Tuesday's game against the Knicks because of a sore right ankle that could sideline him for an extended period of time.

The ankle, which has been bothering him since before the All-Star break, isn't sore in the area that he underwent surgery over the summer.

He was scheduled to undergo tests on the ankle Tuesday afternoon.
