Chris Bosh was asked if the declining financial strength of several teams around the NBA will make him more inclined to sign an extension with the Raptors this summer.

"The economy doesn't play any role in my decision," said Bosh.  "It is what it is. I believe that it's going to go back up like what [the economy has] done in the past. Hopefully it's only a matter of time."

Bosh can opt out of his contract with the Raptors in the summer of 2010 and is more unsure of his future than ever before.

"I'm really not sure. You never know," Bosh said on whether he'd sign an extension or opt out. "It's tough to call right now. I'm just trying to finish the season strong right now."
