Kevin Durant is listed as probable for Oklahoma City's game against Phoenix on Saturday night, and he is expected to return from a sprained right ankle.
Durant has missed seven games with the injury, a grade II sprain suffered on Feb. 27. He's no longer concerned about his ankle, but doesn't feel the same about his conditioning.
"My wind is terrible right now," Durant said Wednesday, following a pre-game workout. "I was tired out there. It was one those tires where I didn't know where I was at. I was dazed."
The Thunder are 5-2 with Durant out of the lineup, and he doesn't want to step in and mess up the momentum that his teammates have worked hard to achieve.
"I feel like I just got traded and went to a new team, because we've been playing so well and I haven't played in a long time," Durant said. "I just want to come in and be myself and just mesh with the guys as much as possible."
