Heat star Dwyane Wade has never played in all 82 games during any of his six NBA seasons, but is hoping to achieve the goal this year.

Miami has 16 games left in the regular season, and Wade is playing through a variety of nagging injuries.

"Everybody plays through pain," Wade said Tuesday after sitting out the Heat's practice. "If you can play through it, you play through it. If you feel it's going to hurt you even more, you may have to stop for a minute."

He's currently dealing with a mysterious hip injury, an ankle sprain and a bruised thigh.

"If the injuries ever get to a point where they're not getting better with days off in between, then you have to re-evaluate it," coach Erik Spoelstra said. "Hopefully, he can bounce back and be ready [Wednesday]. He wants to play all 82. It's important for him, considering where he's been through the last two years. He got his body ready. But you also have to be smart."
