The Lakers aren't getting complacent after their 113-100 victory over the Jazz in Game 1 of their first-round series on Sunday afternoon.
"We knew what we had to do. There's no such thing as upsets in the Western Conference," Kobe Bryant said. "We're on our toes."
The top-seeded Lakers, who appeared to ease up in the second half with a huge lead already built, know that they'll have to play better in Game 2 in order to enjoy the same result.
Phil Jackson wasn't happy with his team's play after halftime.
"I think the best we can say is that we prevailed. We got the win. It wasn't a coach's delight, but we were able to outscore them. Foul after foul after foul, rebounds, offensive rebounds - those are the things we harped on all week," Jackson said.
