Magic point guard Jameer Nelson says that he'll need a miracle to convince the team's medical staff to activate him for the NBA Finals.

"I'm a competitor," Nelson said on Monday. "No matter what the situation is, I always think I can go out there and get contact."

The All-Star point guard added that he'd only be a shell of his former self at this point, and that Orlando is worried about him risking further damage to his injured shoulder.

"A miracle has to happen," Nelson said.
