Rasheed Wallace is pondering an offer from the Celtics, while the Magic, Mavericks and Spurs are expected to show interest next week.

Agent Bill Strickland said that the Cavaliers could make a late play for Wallace's services as well.

All of the interested clubs are expected to offer the free-agent forward a deal around the mid-level exception, which is worth $5.8 million.

"He could retire right now and be happy," Strickland said. "But that's something we've already dealt with. He said, 'I want to play more and go for another ring.' "
