The Cavaliers met with Channing Frye on Monday, and the club appears interested in signing the free-agent forward.
Currently, Cleveland is looking at a number of power forwards in addition to Frye. Antonio McDyess is believed to be one of those players.
Frye also has been in talks with the Suns, Nuggets, Spurs, Magic and Wizards.
"I do think I'm a good fit. I think having a big that can create space for LeBron, Shaq and Mo [Williams] can't hurt," Frye told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I feel like all the teams have a great opportunity for me to play and for me to contribute, especially [in Cleveland] -- to be a part of history."
