The Jazz and center Mehmet Okur have agreed in principle on a two-year contract extension worth $21 million, according to NBA sources.
Okur could have hit the free agent market this summer, but opted to complete the final year of his deal in Utah.
The new contract will take effect in the 2010-11 season.
RealGM Note: Okur was ranked 50th in season FIC and 'deserved' a salary of $11 million.
