A league executive told 1050 ESPN New York's Andrew Marchand that he believes the Knicks will sign David Lee to a one-year deal.

The executive believes we'll see an agreement reached shortly after New York finishes up their negotiations with Nate Robinson on a deal of the same length.

Both Lee and Robinson are restricted free agents and have expressed frustration over their experience this offseason.

However, Mark Bartelstein, Lee's agent, claims that they are still talking to other clubs about a sign-and-trade.
