Suns coach Alvin Gentry is hoping that the team's depth with allow him to rest his stars at the end of games.

"I don't mind having that problem," Gentry told the Arizona Republic of having depth. "That's the best you could possibly hope for. I do think there'll be a battle for playing time, and that should make camp very interesting.

"I wish we could play 10 guys, so that we have enough confidence and have Steve, Grant and Amar? fresh down the stretch, where they're not asked to play the last 11 minutes of the game."

Nash, 35, played in 73 games last season, averaging 33.6 minutes per contest. Hill, who will turn 37 next week, averaged 29.8 minutes per game in 2008-09.
