Celtics president Danny Ainge says he had a "father-son" talk with Rajon Rondo prior to agreeing on his $55 million extension.

"He's young," agent Bill Duffy told the Boston Herald. "We all grow and see things different as we get older."

Rondo, 23, made headlines for his war of words with Hornets point guard Chris Paul last Sunday as well.
