Carlos Boozer is calling a report by the New York Daily News that the Bulls are investigating how he injured his finger "completely false."

Boozer said he hurt his right pinkie tripping over a bag while answering the door at his home Oct. 2.

The Daily News claims the franchise to looking into how the injury occurred. The Chicago Tribune reported on Monday that the Bulls are not investigating into Boozer's incident.

"The guy was trying to create a story out of no-story," Boozer said.

"Horrible [report]. Obviously, you want to get your facts right before you decide to write something that's not true. Horrible report. My Bulls are behind me, my teammates are behind me. For me, it's disgusting when you have a reporter write something that's not true."
