On Wednesday after practice, Carmelo Anthony was asked about the report that the Knicks were moving closer to trading for him.

"I have no idea," Anthony said. "Honestly. I have no idea. Last night was the first time that I heard about it. Today was the first (day) that it started escalating again. I don't know from where. But I'm here, so that's all I can focus on."

"What's gonna happen?" he said. "I think that's the first thing that comes to mind. I try to tell myself, people that's around me and my team that I don't want to hear it. If something's going to happen it's going to happen. Please don't call me with all of that stuff, with conversations and rumors and he say, she say. If something happens, then call me."

"It doesn't bother me," he continued. "It really doesn't bother me. I'm able to still wake up in the morning and smile, come in here, laugh and joke with my teammates, play basketball. That stuff doesn't bother me. It's not life or death."
