Trail Blazers center Greg Oden, the first overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, is in line for a contract extension but he's resigned to the fact that he won't receive one, a source told ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

Stein writes that Oden isn't even pressing for an extension after appearing in just 82 games over his first three NBA seasons because of various injuries.

Oden can make more money if he puts together a strong, healthy season and hits restricted free agency next summer.
