Ohio State coach Tad Matta believes in learning through winning.
"I'm not one of those guys who believes we need to teach through losing," Matta said. "I'd rather the other."
"Learn while we're winning" is what Matta advised the Buckeyes after they easily defeated Indiana while playing poor defense on New Year's Eve.
"My point was, we hadn't lost yet. But I knew we had to play better basketball," he said.
"I was just telling the guys that we can stay content with playing the way we're playing and winning, or we can learn our lessons even though we won the game."
