LeBron James sat out Miami's loss to Denver on Thursday after spraining his ankle the previous night.

James Jones started in his place and the Nuggets beat the Heat 130-102 at the Pepsi Center.

Miami is hoping that a few days off will allow James to face the Bulls on Saturday when the team closes its five-game road trip.

James suffered the injury Wednesday night in a loss to the Clippers when he rolled his ankle on a drive to the basket in the fourth quarter.
