The Hornets and Clippers have submitted a multi-player trade to the league office for approval that would include Chris Paul, according to a source.

The NBA wants the Clippers to add Eric Bledsoe to their offer, which already includes Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu and Minnesota's 2012 first round pick.

The deal would be done if the NBA hadn't asked for Bledsoe in addition to what is already been offered, according to a source.

Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Clippers are currently refusing to improve their offer and that the deal is currently dead.

A source says that talks could be restructured again, but that the Clippers are reluctant to meet the exorbitant asking price for Paul.

The NBA is now running the trade talks for the Hornets, 'usurping' the power of GM Dell Demps, according to Wojnarowski.
