Steve Blake had an MRI exam on Thursday, the results of which show that he has a costochaondral fracture (fracture of the cartilage that connects the rib to the sternum).

Blake originally suffered the injury during the Lakers’ game against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, and aggravated it in last night’s game at Utah. Blake will be re-evaluated in the next day or two, but for now his status should be considered day-to-day.
