Shabazz Muhammad will make an official visit this weekend to Duke as the Blue Devils face North Carolina at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Muhammad said that Austin Rivers talked to him many times last year about playing in Durham.

“I remember last year going to Duke, and he was at the game, too, and he was telling me that this is such a great environment and that, ‘You’ve got to join it, too’,” Muhammad said. “I know he’s going to talk to me this weekend. He’s a really good player and a good guy off the court, so I’m going to pick his brain about Duke. I think he could go either way (entering NBA Draft or staying at Duke). I think he might stay another year, and that would be a great situation if he does. That would make it that much greater of a team.”
