Meyers Leonard is weighing whether to enter the NBA draft.

"I don't know right now," Leonard said. "Obviously the NBA is in my future, hopefully. For right now, I'm focused on Illinois."

Leonard, who is averaging 13.4 points and 8.1 rebounds per game, admits to being torn in two different directions.

"It has weighed on me a little bit at times this season," Leonard said. "It's not easy when you hear everyone in my ear. Different people try to come at you from different angles, but the coaches have done a nice job of keeping me grounded, as well as people close to me (and) teammates."

A lucrative job in the NBA would help Leonard’s family.

"My mom is kind of teetering with her health," Leonard said. "She has a bad back. She's always been there for me and given everything she had to me, so I want to take care of her. But she can make it even through next year if I decide to stay."
