Carmelo Anthony has shot 29.3 percent from the floor when guarded by LeBron James in the Knicks’ first round series against Miami.

Anthony’s shooting percentage rises dramatically to 52.6 percent when opposite Shane Battier.

“It doesn’t matter who is on who,” said James. “When a great player has it going offensively, you can put anyone on him.

“Shane has done a great job in this series. We have all done a great job in this series of containing Melo and if he was going to take the shot, we would rather have a bigger body on Tyson to keep him off the offensive glass. So that was why I took Tyson.”
