Royce White has had a difficult week, turning down a D-League assignment and missing several practices for the Houston Rockets.

The Rockets have attempted to create a situation to allow White to play while accommodating his anxiety disorder.

White likely would not have received such special treatment from most other NBA teams.

"He isn't good enough – and I'm not sure anyone would be good enough – to have a completely different set of guidelines for him," one GM said. "I would've already cut him."

White started to fulfill some of his obligations to the Rockets over the past day, sources said.
