The New York Knicks have “a lot of positive momentum” in talks with Bobby Brown after the team worked out the star Euroleague point guard this week, according to a player source.

"Talks are very good [with the Knicks]," the source said. "I would be surprised if a signing isn't being considered. It would be a great signing for them."

Brown averaged 18.8 points and 5.3 assists this past season for Montepaschi Siena.

"He's explosive and would be a great spark plug off the bench for the Knicks," the source said. "He's a scoring point guard who has a great handle. He's gotten better at passing. He over-dribbled last year at summer league, and [NBA insiders] made fun of him because he was kind of clueless with the ball. He has a tendency to try to do everything himself [on the court], but he's learned the game very well in Italy."

Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Brown also has significant offers from teams in China competing with the Knicks and other NBA teams.
