Jordan Farmar impressed the Cleveland Cavaliers during his workout on Wednesday.

The Cavaliers are considering signing Farmar along with Lance Stephenson, Mario Chalmers and Kirk Hinrich.

Cleveland is in need of a veteran backup point guard and playmaker.

The Cavaliers have had an open roster spot for more than three weeks and currently only have 11 healthy players.

Farmar played in two games for the Sacramento Kings this season before Darren Collison returned from his suspension. Farmar signed a 10-day contract with Memphis for 2015-16 and remained for the remainder of the season, and in 12 games averaged 9.2 points and 3.1 assists.
